WILLIAMSON COUNTY — Williamson County will start the process of looking for a new County Engineer after Greg Smothers resigned this week.
According to Williamson County Commissioner Brent Gentry, Smothers wants to spend more time with his family. Smothers has a total of 35 years in at IDOT and with the county.
Gentry says the county will run an ad seeking a new County Engineer and put it on the engineer website. Smother’s last day will be Dec. 18.
